11 speeds for perfect control

The 6.6 L Artisan® mixer is designed with 11 distinct speeds to suit any recipe.
Speed 1/2 gently mixes delicate ingredients, such as blueberries and egg whites, preserving the air in the mixture as if they had been mixed by hand. The soft-start function minimizes splashing, while the other 10 speeds allow you to process any ingredient quickly and efficiently.

Bowl-lift system for greater efficiency

The Artisan® bowl-lift mixer is slightly taller and has a larger capacity than tilt-head mixers. The bowl is securely locked into position by three locking points and can then be raised and lowered. The mixer is more powerful and robust, making it ideal for those who frequently need to process larger quantities of food.

The patented front attachment hub system developed by KitchenAid has been used since the first mixer was built in 1919. Thanks to its original planetary action, the Artisan® mixer makes it easy to incorporate ingredients. The mixer head rotates in one direction while the attachment moves in a spiral in the opposite direction, making 67 contact points with the bowl. All this ensures a much more homogeneous mixture.
