By simply turning the ring at the base of the grinder, you can instantly obtain the desired grind size without any risk.

The salt and peppercorn grinders equipped with the u'Select system feature the same renowned Peugeot mechanisms, guaranteed for life. The peppercorn grinders use a grinding mechanism made of durable stainless steel, featuring two rows of spiral-shaped teeth to efficiently guide the peppercorns. The first, larger row is designed to crush the peppercorns, while the second ensures perfect grinding.

Furthermore, the salt grinder features a zirconium mechanism, a Peugeot innovation, which produces extremely fine powdered salt, enhancing the taste of salt while limiting the quantity used. What type of salt is recommended?

For the best results, dry salt with crystals no larger than 4 mm in diameter is recommended, such as mined salt or coarse salt. Do not use salt grinders to grind peppercorn or sea salt, as its moisture can corrode the mechanism.

What type of peppercorn is recommended?

Dry, hard black, white or green peppercorns with a maximum diameter of approximately 5 mm are recommended. Pink peppercorns may only be used in a blend (maximum 15% pink peppercorns) with one of the peppercorn types mentioned above. Dried coriander seeds can also be used in Peugeot peppercorn grinders.
