Product description
A spice grinder is recommended to be used for several reasons. Freshly ground salt will enhance flavours, making your dish tastier. In case of quality grinders, you can even adjust the granulation as required by recipe.
The Peugeot grinders for salt and pepper from the Paris collection presented to the public in 1987 are today the best-selling products in the manufacturer's portfolio. Their classic design, combined with beech wood, the material the grinders are made of, make the Paris grinders a perfect choice for any kitchen. At the bottom, we can find the Peugeot logo and, at the top, a knob to select granulation, which rotates clockwise for finer grind and counterclockwise for coarser grind.
Lifetime guaranteed mechanism
The Zirlion grinding mechanism of the salt grinder is the result of Peugeot's research and development and is guaranteed to last indefinitely. Made of zirconium, one of the most demanding materials in terms of hardness and durability, the Zirlion mechanism delivers extremely fine salt powder and enhances the flavor experience while limiting its harmful effects.
What type of salt is recommended?
For the best results, this grinder is recommended to be used with dry salt, with crystals of maximum 6 mm in diameter, such as the salt extracted from mines or coarse salt. Do not use salt grinders to mince pepper or sea salt, as its moisture might corrode the mechanism.
Height: 18 cm.
The grinder may contain salt for demonstration purposes and should be emptied before use.
